Terms of Use for the Website and the Playground

1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern access to the website www.pseudia.eu (the "Site") and the use of the free demo environment "Playground", available at https://admin-panel.dev.pseudia.eu (the "Playground"), provided by Pseudia SRL ("Pseudia"). By browsing the Site or creating a Playground account, you accept them. Paid subscriptions (Starter, Enterprise) and on-premises deployments are governed by separate contractual terms.

The Site and the Playground are intended for professionals acting in the course of their business activity. By creating an account, you represent that you are of legal age and authorized to bind the organization you represent.

2. Use of the Site

You agree not to disrupt the operation of the Site, not to attempt unauthorized access to it, and not to extract its content in an automated manner without written consent. Pseudia may suspend access in case of abuse.

3. The Playground

3.1 Nature of the service

The Playground allows you to test the pseudonymization engine in your browser, with a limited number of requests. It is provided free of charge, "as is", with no commitment as to availability or duration. It does not include the creation of workers, the management of workspaces or data sources, or support. Pseudia may modify, limit, or discontinue it at any time.

3.2 Prohibited data

The Playground is a demonstration environment, not a production environment. You agree to enter only fictitious or test data. It is prohibited to submit:

• real personal data within the meaning of the GDPR (names, emails, IBANs, real identifiers, etc.);
• sensitive data (health, biometric data, criminal data, etc.);
• data covered by a confidentiality obligation, professional secrecy, or sector-specific regulation;
• any unlawful content.

If you nevertheless submit real data, you do so at your own sole risk as data controller, and you agree to indemnify Pseudia against any claim resulting therefrom. Pseudia has no obligation to retain such data and may delete it without notice.

3.3 Processing of submitted data

Data entered into the Playground is processed solely to display the pseudonymization result. It is processed in transit and is not stored; it is not analyzed for commercial purposes and is not used to train models. Pseudia may retain technical logs (timestamp, volume, transformation type) without content, for security purposes and to limit abuse, for a maximum of 90 days.

3.4 Account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out through your account. An account inactive for 12 months may be deleted. You may request deletion of your account at any time at privacy@pseudia.eu.

3.5 Prohibited uses

It is prohibited to use the Playground to circumvent request limits, perform load testing, attempt to re-identify pseudonymized data, reverse-engineer the engine, or resell access.

4. Intellectual property

The Site, the Playground, the pseudonymization engine, the documentation, the trademarks, and the logos are the property of Pseudia. These terms grant you no rights over these elements, other than a personal, non-exclusive, and revocable right of access to the Playground. You retain all rights to the data you enter.

If you send us improvement suggestions, you authorize us to use them freely, without any obligation of compensation or attribution.

5. Warranties and liability

The Site and the Playground are provided without any warranty of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Playground's results are indicative and constitute neither a guarantee of GDPR compliance nor legal advice: the legal characterization of a processing activity is your responsibility.

To the extent permitted by law, Pseudia's liability under the Site and the Playground is excluded for indirect damages (data loss, loss of revenue, reputational harm) and, for direct damages, capped at 500 euros. Nothing herein excludes Pseudia's liability in the event of fraud or gross negligence.

6. Personal data

Your account and browsing data are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

7. Modification and termination

Pseudia may modify these terms; the applicable version is the one published on the Site at the time of your use, with 15 days' notice for account holders in the event of a substantial change. Pseudia may suspend or close an account in case of a breach of these terms, without notice in the event of a serious breach.

8. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Liège. The parties shall first attempt an amicable resolution for 30 days.
